Digital Teamwork
Working on a team is very helpful with a project like this. Not only is the magnitude of the text an obstacle, but the questions about phrasing and word translation choices can be difficult with only one viewpoint to work with. However, with several people choosing how to translate different portionso f the same document, some inconsistencies invariably arise. Shortly after beginning this projects, my fellow students started an online document to catalogue common word choices and term decisions to increase consistency in the text before it is assembled. I believe making these decisions at the front end will reduce the confusion and mistakes that are made during the editing process after the book is reassembled. Translation Project Common Docment
